Brow Lift – General Procdure
A brow lift can be done alone as an outpatient procedure, but if it’s combined with other facial cosmetic procedures an overnight stay in the hospital may help with recovery. For the placement of the eyebrows, Dr. Schreiber will determine that with you during a consultation. The incisions for a brow lift are placed behind the hairline to hide the scar. A limited-incision browlift involves small incisions behind the hairline to provide a moderate lift to the outside part of the eyebrow. If the entire eyebrow requires lifting, a longer incision is usually requried. This type of lift is call a coronal brow lift.

Brow Lift – Recovery Process
The recovery from a brow lift Baltimore typically lasts 1-2 weeks, depending on the extent of the lift. Any swelling can be treated with ice packs, and discomfort is well controlled with oral pain medication. To prevent infection, Dr. Schreiber will prescribe you antibiotics. Dressings are usually removed at 2-3 days, with stitches removed at 1 week. When other facial cosmetic procedures are done with a brow lift, the recovery may take longer.
